Belt-Way Scales, Inc. Aug 1, 2007 10:56 AM Easy Installation and Calibration are much valued features of the Belt-Way Scale. Even more importantly, once calibrated, it stays calibrated until there is a mechanical change, i.e. installation of new belt, etc. The Auto Zero function compensates for mechanical variance in belt tension, due to temperature change, or inconsistent weight on the belt, due to adhesion of residual material. The Belt-Way Scale senses force of material directly on 2 single point suspension load cells. We do not use any mechanical apparatus between the idler and scale, i.e. cantilever arms, or load cell assemblies bolted directly to the frame; both of which produce a non-linear response to weight changes. Production Data, including Accumulated Weight in Tons, Real-Time Flow Rate in Tons per Hour, Belt Speed, and Percentage of Load on the scale, appear on the scale's Digital Display. Production Data may also be logged to a Compact Flash Data Logger. The file format from this device imports directly to Microsoft EXCEL, or ACCESS, enabling easy analysis of production information back at the office. Connection of all scales to a PC on site enables on-screen, graphic, monitoring of Flow Rates and Weight Accumulation A data log of production may be automatically written to the PC's hard drive for historical production analysis. Where Internet Access is available to the PC at the plant, all features of the Belt-Way Production Monitoring and Data Collection Software are available from remote locations via your home computer, or any PC connected to the Internet. While production data collection options are many, our primary focus is accurate, repeatable scale performance. Business decisions based on accurate production data produce increased efficiency, and competitive advantage. Inaccurate data is actually worse than none. At Belt-Way Scales, Inc. we are committed to producing a cost-effective scale you can trust. You may contact us at (815) 625-5573 or visit us on the web: www.beltwayscales.com. |
