Universal Impact Technology Inc Dec 2, 2004 12:00 PM UNIVERSAL IMPACT TECHNOLOGY’S TERMINATOR ROCK BREAKER is the hardest hitting quarry breaker on the market with up to
75,000 FOOT POUNDS OF IMPACT PER BLOW. Most hydraulic hammers in a quarry environment have a life span of
only 3-4 years with very extensive maintenance. With the Terminator 8-10 years is the rule and many of the original
machines delivered in 1987 are still in use regularly today. Lets look at the reasons for this. The Terminator has no lubrication points. The impact is governed
only by the force of gravity and for this reason a Terminator will hit
it’s full impact for as long as you operate the machine. Impact
does not vary due to poor hydraulic capacity of the carrier and because
the flow and pressure requirements are so low carriers tend to last
longer with the Terminator. The breaker point on the largest Terminator
sells for around $1,200. The Terminator breaks larger rocks with fewer
blows so it makes sense that both the Terminator and the carrier will
last longer. With less blows and lower hydraulic demand in both flow
and pressure ensures longer pump and hydraulic component life as well
as lower engine RPM’s mean lower fuel consumption and longer
engine life. The Terminator has a lower initial cost, lower maintenance cost and
lasts years longer than any conventional hydraulic hammer. The bottom line is that with a Terminator we just plain hit harder
than any hammer on the market. Terminator gives more bang for the buck. Universal Impact Technologies Inc 800-525-6828 or e-mail us at
